PaidSync connects Microsoft Ads to Microsoft Copilot via MCP. Copilot gets real-time read and write access to your campaigns, ad sets, audiences, and performance data.
Setup time: 2 minutes. Free plan available. No credit card required.
Takes 10 seconds. Google or email sign-in. Free plan is 15 tasks per month at $0.
In your PaidSync dashboard, click Connect Microsoft Ads. Sign in with the Microsoft account that has access to your Microsoft Advertising customer. If you manage several customers, choose the parent customer so Copilot can see every account beneath it. Your credentials are never stored by PaidSync.
From the dashboard, copy your API key. It starts with ps_ and is unique to your account.
Microsoft 365 Copilot reaches custom MCP servers through a Copilot Studio agent. In Copilot Studio open your agent, then Tools, Add a tool, New tool, Model Context Protocol.
Server name PaidSync, a short description, and the server URL:
https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcpAuthentication: choose OAuth 2.0, then Dynamic discovery (PaidSync publishes the discovery metadata Copilot Studio looks for), or API key sent as a Query parameter named api_key with your ps_ key. Transport is Streamable HTTP. Click Create, then Add to agent.
Publish the agent to the Microsoft 365 Copilot channel. Most tenants need an admin to approve it before it appears in Teams and Microsoft 365 Copilot. Copilot Studio needs a work or school account, included with Microsoft 365 Copilot licences or as a standalone Copilot Studio subscription or trial. The consumer Copilot app does not accept custom MCP servers.
GitHub Copilot in VS Code is a different product. Press Cmd+Shift+P (Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows), run MCP: Add Server, choose HTTP, paste the same URL, and sign in when prompted.
Ask Copilot: "Copilot, show my Microsoft Ads campaign performance"
Copilot responds with live campaign names, spend, and results from your Microsoft Ads account. Connection confirmed.
Free plan includes 15 tasks per month. Pro plans from $99/month for higher daily use.
