How to Connect Google Ads and Meta Ads to Gemini

Connect Google Ads and Meta Ads to Gemini by adding PaidSync's remote endpoint, https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcp, to Gemini CLI, Code Assist or Gemini Enterprise and signing in with OAuth. Gemini can then audit, report on and manage both accounts. Every change waits for your approval.

One thing to know first. The consumer Gemini app does not accept custom MCP servers today, so this guide uses Google's developer and enterprise surfaces. If you already work in Gemini CLI, Code Assist or Gemini Enterprise, your ad accounts land in the same place you already work. No spreadsheets. No switching between tabs.

What You Need Before You Start

You only need three things. Most people already have the first two.

What Gemini Can Do With Your Ads

Once your ad accounts are connected, Gemini goes beyond basic reporting. It becomes a hands-on assistant that can read your data, spot problems, and take action.

Run a Full Account Audit

Ask Gemini to audit your Google Ads or Meta Ads account. It checks your campaign structure, bidding settings, targeting, keyword quality, and ad copy. Then it gives you a plain-language summary of what is working and what needs attention. No need to hire an agency for a one-time checkup.

Find Wasted Spend

Gemini can scan your search terms report in Google Ads or your audience performance in Meta Ads and flag where money is going to waste. It finds irrelevant search queries, underperforming placements, and audiences that click but never convert. Then it suggests exactly what to cut.

Manage Campaigns in Plain English

You can create campaigns, pause ad groups, adjust budgets, add negative keywords, change targeting, and update ad copy by just telling Gemini what to do. No need to open the Google Ads or Meta Ads interface. Gemini handles it through PaidSync and confirms every action before executing.

Get Reports Without Logging Into Anything

Ask Gemini for a performance summary and it pulls the numbers directly from your ad accounts. Spend, clicks, conversions, ROAS, CPA, impressions. You can ask for specific date ranges, compare periods, or break down results by campaign, ad group, or platform.

How to Set It Up in 5 Steps

The entire process takes under 5 minutes. One command in Gemini CLI, or one settings entry for Code Assist. No browser extensions.

1

Sign up for PaidSync.ai

Go to paidsync.ai/signup and create your account with Google or email. You start on the free plan automatically. No credit card needed. You get 15 tasks per month at $0.

2

Add PaidSync to Gemini

The consumer Gemini app does not accept custom MCP servers today. PaidSync connects to Google's developer and enterprise surfaces instead.

Gemini CLI. Run the command, then type /mcp auth paidsync and sign in with your PaidSync login:

gemini mcp add --transport http paidsync https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcp

Gemini Code Assist and Antigravity read the same settings file. Add this to ~/.gemini/settings.json:

{ "mcpServers": { "paidsync": { "httpUrl": "https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcp" } } }

Gemini Enterprise, Business edition. A team admin adds PaidSync under Settings and help, then Manage team, then Connected apps, then Add MCP Server. PaidSync serves the Streamable HTTP transport Gemini requires and OAuth 2.0 at https://api.paidsync.ai/authorize and https://api.paidsync.ai/token. Email support@paidsync.ai for the client credentials that form asks for.

Sign-in is OAuth 2.0 with your PaidSync login. An API key also works for read-only use as https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcp?api_key=ps_your_key_here, but applying a change requires the OAuth sign-in.

3

Connect your Google Ads account

In the PaidSync dashboard, click Connect Google Ads. Sign in with your Google account and authorize access. PaidSync uses Google's standard OAuth flow. Your Google password is never stored or shared with Gemini, and the access tokens PaidSync holds are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.

4

Connect your Meta Ads account

Click Connect Meta Ads in the PaidSync dashboard. Log in with Facebook and authorize access. PaidSync connects to every ad account under your Facebook Business Manager, so you can manage them all from Gemini.

5

Start managing ads with Gemini

Open Gemini CLI, Code Assist or Gemini Enterprise and try "Show me my Google Ads performance this month" or "Audit my Meta Ads account." If Gemini returns your data, everything is working. Any change Gemini proposes from here is held for your approval before it runs.

Example Gemini Conversations

Here are real prompts you can try the moment setup is done. These work for both Google Ads and Meta Ads.

"Audit my Google Ads account and list the top 5 issues"
Runs a full audit of your account structure, bidding, keywords, and targeting. Returns a prioritized list of what to fix first.
"How much did I spend on Meta Ads this week, and what was my ROAS?"
Pulls your Meta Ads spend, revenue, and return on ad spend for the past 7 days. No need to open Ads Manager.
"Find all Google Ads search terms with more than $50 spend and zero conversions"
Scans your search terms report and flags the ones burning money. You can then ask Gemini to add them as negative keywords in one step.
"Pause all Meta Ads ad sets with a CPA above $40 in the last 14 days"
Finds underperforming ad sets and pauses them. Gemini shows you the list and confirms before taking action.
"Compare my Google Ads and Meta Ads performance for March"
Pulls data from both platforms and gives you a side-by-side comparison of spend, conversions, CPA, and ROAS.
"Create a new Google Ads Search campaign for 'accounting software' with a $50/day budget"
Builds a live campaign with keywords, ad groups, and budget from a single sentence. Gemini confirms the details before creating anything.

Why Gemini Makes Sense for Ad Management

If you already work inside Google's tools, Gemini is a natural fit. You use Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and probably Google Ads itself. Adding ad management to Gemini means one less tool to learn and one less tab to keep open.

Gemini also handles multi-step reasoning well. You can ask it to pull your performance data, analyze the trends, and suggest budget changes all in one conversation. It remembers context within the session, so you do not have to repeat yourself. Ask for your top campaigns, then follow up with "pause the bottom three" and Gemini knows exactly which ones you mean.

For people who run ads on both Google and Meta, having both platforms accessible from one conversation is a big time saver. Instead of switching between Google Ads Manager and Meta Ads Manager, you ask Gemini and get answers from both in seconds.

Also Works with Claude and ChatGPT

PaidSync is not limited to Gemini. If you also use ChatGPT or Claude, you can connect the same ad accounts there too. The setup process is almost identical. Add https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcp in the AI tool's settings, sign in with your PaidSync login, and you are ready to go. The connect hub has the exact steps for every client. Your Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts stay connected to PaidSync regardless of which AI you use on any given day.

Pick your platform

Same endpoint and the same sign-in on every one of them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Gemini apps accept PaidSync?

Gemini CLI, Gemini Code Assist, Antigravity and Gemini Enterprise (Business edition) accept custom MCP servers, so all of them can add https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcp. The consumer Gemini app does not accept custom MCP servers today. PaidSync itself has a free plan with 15 tasks per month.

Can Gemini manage both Google Ads and Meta Ads at the same time?

Yes. Once both platforms are connected through PaidSync, you can work with both in a single conversation. Ask Gemini to compare performance across platforms, audit one while reporting on the other, or take actions on both in the same session.

Will Gemini make changes to my ads without asking?

No. PaidSync holds every write for approval before it runs. If you ask Gemini to pause a campaign, change a budget, or add negative keywords, the change is shown to you first and waits for your approval. You can ask for a dry run to preview any change, and destructive operations need an explicit confirm_destructive flag.

Does PaidSync also work with ChatGPT and Claude?

Yes. The same endpoint works in Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot Studio and Cursor. Add https://mcp.paidsync.ai/mcp in the client, sign in with your PaidSync login, and your Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts are available there too.
